Starship Insignia

Well, I'm not a computer artist like a lot of the artists here at Deviant Art. For the most part, I'm a writer. So I decided to give my Paint program a whirl and just for fun, this came out of my head.

I hope everyone will be brutally honest and let me know what they think, please. I'm thinking of developing it for a Star Trek: Original Series ship.
